Pinterest Predicts is Pinterest's annual trend forecast: a creative, data-powered editorial platform that predicts what’s next before it goes mainstream. Unlike typical reports that look back, Pinterest Predicts is rooted in future-focused planning behavior, analyzing what millions of people are searching and saving to surface the top 20 emerging trends for the year ahead.
I helped spearhead this now-flagship initiative in 2020 by reimagining Pinterest’s annual trend report as a cultural tentpole for Pinterest and a high-impact revenue driver. In 2025, we evolved the initiative again, bringing the trends out into culture, connecting consumers and brands directly through a series of brand partnerships, experiences, exclusive product drops, and social activations.
With earned media up 2,327%, and Predicts trends appearing everywhere from Fashion Week to Louis Vuitton campaigns, we turned insight into influence and made Pinterest part of the zeitgeist.
